I am Travis Smolinski and live in Alsask, Saskatchewan, Canada and have been knapping since Feb. 2000. I use 50% copper and 50% antler but get the greatest pleasure from working with traditional tools. My favourite stone is fancy (India) jasper, Montana agate and knife river flint, although I have worked almost everything at one time. I knap, make bows, arrows, spears and tomahawks and teach other traditional skills. In my spare time we look after the farm (grain and cattle).
